• Develop the research questions, in close collaboration with LAW country
• Conduct interviews, key informant interviews and focus group discussions in accordance with the methodology agreed upon with LAW country
• Compile and safely store the data obtained.
• Provide an analysis of the preliminary results by November, and of the full report by December
Qualifications, experience and skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in gathering statistical and qualitative data on human rights violations in conflict affected contexts;
• Experience in compiling and drafting complex analytic report for the consumption of wide range of audiences including, civil society, the UN, and the diplomatic community;
• Knowledge of trauma informed approaches;
• Experience working in an international or major national non-governmental organisations operating in complex environments, preferably in management and field positions;
• Published work reporting, summarizing or collating empirical research;
• Experience working with Myanmar human rights, conflict and humanitarian affairs is highly proffered;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong technical literacy.
