• You are responsible for all aspects of project management. This includes project design, planning, execution, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) as well as financial and narrative reporting and the development of funding proposals.
• You contribute to the implementation of the adidas Breaking Barriers Project together with an internal team of three colleagues to effectively deliver against project deliverables.
• You review, develop content and facilitate training sessions for young leaders and organisations
• You provide guidance, review and develop new content focused on gender equity
• You build and maintain partnerships with Football for Good and gender focused organisations and engage with partners from the corporate, government, and football sectors to ensure the relevance, quality and sustainability of projects.
• You build and mentor communities of practice, working alongside experts to implement learning opportunities for the wider Common Goal Community.
YOUR PROFILE
• You have a degree in gender studies, sports science, social science, international development or a related field.
• You have at least three (3) years professional experience in gender equity programmes, ideally related to the field of sports for development and in particular in Africa.
• You have proven experience with managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and collecting, reporting and communicating impact data.
• You have knowledge of the management and reporting standards of public funders, ideally GIZ in particular.
• You have experience with conceptualising and facilitating workshops and trainings with a focus on gender equity. Your passion for football and experience in football coaching is a plus.
• You are a passionate communicator and know how to initiate and moderate collaborative processes.
• You are familiar with creating databases, spreadsheets, presentations and the use of project management tools and apps.
• You have people management skills to effectively deliver against project deliverables.
• You are willing and able to travel regularly.
• You are native or fluent in English. Fluency in other languages is an important asset (especially French and German).
• You are a great listener and team player who enjoys taking responsibility and working in a diverse, culturally-rich and inclusive workplace and apply a decolonial lens in your working style.
• You take initiative and responsibility of your work, and solve problems proactively.
• You possess strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
