• Candidates must have the support of an ISGlobal senior faculty researcher (Research Professor or Associate Research Professor).
• This call is open to all candidates who are not holding a permanent position within the Spanish National research system and have at least 3 years experience at an Assistant Research Professorship like position (between an R2 Recognized Researcher and an R3 Established Researcher in the European framework for research careers).
Conditions
• Assistant Research Professor Tenure Track full time, open-ended contract
• Gross annual salary within the following range 35.253 – 44.867 €

• The successful candidate will be periodically evaluated (at least every 5 years) by external international experts, according to ISGlobal’s Tenure track researcher’s evaluation and promotion policy
• Technical support for grant application and management will be provided, as well as limited administrative support.

Selection criteria and procedure
The evaluation of candidates will be based on criteria of excellence in research scholarship, leadership and service and conducted by a gender balanced panel of external international experts as well as internal evaluators without conflict of interest, in a two-step evaluation process:
a. Scoring of the CVs by the evaluation panel
b. Face-to-face presentation and interview for the top scored three candidates by the evaluation panel, who will provide a prioritized list of candidates.
In order to promote gender balance, if no female candidate is selected for interview, the position will be re-advertised.
All candidates will be informed on the outcome of the call.
