Washington: A day after US President Donald Trump mocked Greta Thunberg and asked her to work on her 'anger management', country's former First Lady Michelle Obama came out in support of her and advised the young climate crisis activist to ignore her doubters.
Without naming Trump, she said Greta should not allow anyone to 'dim' her light.
"@GretaThunberg , don’t let anyone dim your light. Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on," Obama tweeted.

Greta was recently named the Time magazine's Person of the Year.
Donald Trump, however, mocked her this week and said, "So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!"

Even Greta replied to Trump's remark by updating her Twitter bio to reflect the President's comments.
Now her Twitter bio reads: " A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend."
