• Strategy: provide strategic input to campaign plans, ensure coherence with advocacy priorities, coordinate support from and exchange with relevant teams and colleagues in the TI movement, and help to mainstream case-based advocacy approaches into TI’s policy and advocacy work
• Impact: contribute to campaign implementation and ensure results are captured, lead on knowledge-sharing, monitoring and learning for the project, and collaborate with other team members to accelerate and maximise impact
• Advocacy: engage in external representation of TI to further policy goals arising from cases
• Sustainability: work with OCCRP and TI-S Fundraising Team to ensure that resources are mobilised and used efficiently and identify strategies for ensuring the sustainability of the partnership between anti-corruption advocates and investigative journalists
• Other tasks as required to ensure the effectiveness and success of the OCCRP partnership
Knowledge, experience and skills:
• Academic degree or professional qualification in social science, public policy or administration, organisational development, management, law, human rights, journalism or another relevant field
• 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally with an international NGO or international organisation, with a proven track record in partnership-building and fundraising, and experience and/or knowledge of anti-corruption, investigative journalism, criminal justice and/or field research an advantage
• Demonstrated political analysis competencies, with the ability to operate under pressure coordinating with partners working in complex national environments
• Proven media, campaign and/or advocacy experience
• If no law degree, experience in directly working with lawyers an asset
• Demonstrated experience in public speaking, partnership-building and fundraising
• Knowledge of project management and monitoring and evaluation
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Highly developed teamwork and intercultural skills
• Knowledge of, or considerable interest in, the work of TI and the field of anti-corruption
• Professional language proficiency in English required; fluency in other UN languages an asset
• IT proficiency, in particular secure information sharing applications, an advantage
• Entrepreneurial, creative and opportunity-driven mindset
• Commitment to the values and goals of Transparency International
• Willingness to travel

This position is based in Berlin, in Transparency International Secretariat (TI-S). There is no possibility of remote working, or working from home outside Germany. Prior to applying, candidates are therefore strongly advised to consider whether they are able to relocate.
