PROJECT ASSOCIATE (M/F/D) INCLUSIVE SERVICE DELIVERY AFRICA

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Transparency International Secretariat is currently seeking a Project Associate (m/f/d) to join the Projects Team, to support a new project on Inclusive Service Delivery in Africa as well as other projects as assigned, depending on current needs within the team.

All 4 Inclusive Service Delivery Africa is a Global Affairs Canada grant over four years, from 2022 to 2026, focused on five African countries, including Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Madagascar, Rwanda and Zimbabwe. The aim of the project is to improve access to health and education services for groups at risk of discrimination, particularly women and girls. The Project will investigate and address internal weaknesses in the design and implementation of anti-corruption legislation, policies and procedures in the education and health sectors. Based on data collected locally, national partners will contribute by investigating and addressing identified weaknesses in public administration; coordinating civil society and media efforts to press for adjustments to government’s anti-corruption norms and practices; and informing and empowering women and girls so that they can exercise their rights as users and beneficiaries of public services. Complementing these activities at local and national level, the project will promote knowledge development, exchange, and sharing of best practices across the region, and link local/national activities with regional/international advocacy efforts to amplify results and mitigate risks related to unsafe civic space that may result from speaking out.
