• Supervise project staff hiring and provide direct managerial support to project staff.
• Develop strong working relations with donors, partners, Government officials, and other stakeholders.
• Responsible for researching, preparing, and submitting research and implementation grants.
• Perform regular project monitoring and evaluation functions, identify implementation difficulties and operational and strategic issues and recommend appropriate solutions or course of action.
• Assess training needs of assigned program staff on a periodic and contingent basis in the context of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and program deliverables.
• Prepare and timely submit donor reports for ongoing and new projects.
• Contribute to the abstract and manuscript writing of existing and new MCH research projects.
• Review and analyze project budgeting and reporting.
• Plan and budget staff hiring with respect to donor TORs and RFPs.
• Supervise and manage Project staff.
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
Required Qualification: Masters degree in Public Health
Required Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience
