• Work with GIIN members to define a stream of programming to support companies in making use of impact investing resources, starting with a Corporate Treasury Working Group
• In collaboration with other GIIN programs, develop knowledge products, resources, case studies, and other outputs to support corporate members in the adoption of impact investing strategies
• Build a vibrant community of corporate members interested in working with impact investors and making use of impact investing resources
• Design and execute an outreach strategy to recruit companies to join the GIIN and participate in the Corporate Sustainability Initiative
• Develop outreach opportunities to share the lessons learned and insights gained from the GIIN’s work with companies to motivate non-member companies to adopt similar strategies
• Collaborate across GIIN programs to identify opportunities to engage companies into other aspects of the GIIN’s work and mission
• Incubate opportunities and models for how to integrate impact investing tools and partners into wider corporate sustainability strategies
• Assess opportunities for sectoral / thematic collaboration between companies and other impact investors to mobilize more capital for sustainability needs
• Develop opportunities for integration of the GIIN’s programming with the venture capital and foundation functions within companies
Compensation: Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
Experience and Competencies:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience showing ability to manage projects, key relationships, and multi-stakeholder engagements
• Experience working with or in the corporate sector is required and understanding of financial products and services is preferred.
• Demonstrated relationship management experience; passion for building collaboration and playing the role of connector to help others build strong relationships
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with public speaking/presentation experience required
• Intellectual drive, thinking about big issues, what makes and moves markets, what inspires people
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours at times of peak project flow
• Skills Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) system is required
• Event planning experience strongly preferred
