Kabul: Unidentified gunmen allegedly gunned down three polio vaccination campaign workers in separate attacks in Jalalabad city of Afghanistan on Tuesday, media reports said.
All three female workers were fighting against the spread of Polio disease in the region, Khaama Press.
The first incident occurred in the PD4 Majboor Abad area of Jalalabad city in which armed gunmen killed a female worker of a polio campaign, the news agency reported.
The second attack occurred an hour after the initial attack when unknown terrorists murdered two other women workers of the fight against polio campaign in PD7 Lal Qasim Agha area of Jalalabad city, sources told Khaama Press.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
