Kabul: A suicide bomber was killed before he could reach the target in Afghanistan's south-eastern Paktiya province, media reports said on Monday.
The Paktiya Governor’s Office said in a statement that the security forces shot dead the suicide bomber close to Paktiya University and regional hospital at noontime today, Khaama Press reported.
No one else was hurt in the incident.
No terror group has commented on the matter so far.
