Kabul, July 31: A road side bomb blast in Afghanistan's Herat-Kandahar Highway on Wednesday left at least 34 people killed, media reports said.
The incident happened in Shawiz area when a bus carrying dozens of passengers was travelling to Farah province from the western province of Herat, an official of Herat hospital, Mohammad Ibrahim Mohammadi, told Khaama Press.
The blast left 17 others injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
