Senior Officer in Strategy & Planning (m/f/d)

We are looking for a professional to strengthen our Strategy & Planning team in Frankfurt. Our team is in charge of a series of tasks related to our funds, including asset-liability management, business planning, fund structuring, financial reporting and projections, and governance organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the Strategy and Planning department’s tasks for one or more of our fund mandates, reporting directly to the team leader
• Prepare strategic decisions for internal senior management and the governance bodies of our funds
• Lead the preparation of financial analyses for our funds, e.g. in asset-liability management, financial planning, performance drivers.
• Act as counterpart to external stakeholders such as board of directors, investment committee, fund service providers, and key investors like international development banks and public institutions.
• Provide strategic guidance to and cooperate with other teams (e.g. investment management, investor relations), e.g. on transactions or in product development.
• Support the development and introduction of new financial products and adjustments of the fund structure.

What we expect:

• University degree in economics, finance or business administration or a related field
• Sufficient, relevant work experience in a relevant field, such as banking, finance, accounting, or consulting. First experience in leadership role is a plus
• Experience/Expertise in financial analysis, asset-liability management, investment funds
• Interest in development finance, green finance, development economies, regions and cultures
• Initiative, proactive and result-oriented approach to work
• Strategic and analytical mindset
• Independent and well-organized
• Team player with international mindset and intercultural skills
• Strong communication skills in internal and external settings
• Excellent English language skills (working language)
