ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting role where you'll have an opportunity to strengthen youth participation in Amnesty International's global campaigning! By coordinating and supporting active participation of young people, in all their diversity, at all phases of the campaign cycle you'll encourage design of campaigns which will be more relevant and inspiring to young supporters. You will be working together with youth leaders, staff with a youth brief and campaigners across the Amnesty movement while supporting cross-regional collaboration. Part of that means running workshops on effective youth engagement, empowerment and participation in campaigning. All while keeping in mind our International Youth Strategy which run until 2020 and doing everything in your power to deliver high-quality and youth-focused solutions.

ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced youth coordinator who can deliver approaches which enable active participation of young people in global campaigning. You will come with a solid understanding of the intersectionality of human rights issues which disproportionally affect young people, in all their diversity. You'll bring experiences with coordinating cross-regional youth networks and facilitating skill sharing. Beyond that, you'll also be confident planning and managing multiple projects and show fine judgement when it comes to delivering workshops using participatory methodologies and communicating in a multicultural setting.
