Bachchan family runs HRB Memorial Trust, in memory of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and on his birthday Big B said it has tied up with Urja Foundation to reach electricity to the homes where there is no power.
Thanking his fans, followers and media for backing him for 45 years since his film career began, he said : "I want to make a small announcement. There is a trust in the name of my father which supports many causes.
