Kabul: At least three members of the terrorist group ISIS were arrested from Afghanistan's Kabul city on Wednesday, media reports said.
"According to a statement released by the National Directorate of Security (NDS), the detained ISIS members were looking to carry out a series of attacks in the city," Khaama reported.
The statement said the arrested people hailed from Turkey, Tajikistan, and Pakistan.
"Disclosing the identities of the detained ISIS members, NDS said Noorullah from Turkey, Noor Mohammad from Tajikistan, and Mohammad Afzal from Pakistan, who were looking to plan and coordiante attacks in Kabul city," the Afghanistan-based news agency report said.
No terrorist group has commented on the issue so far.
