Kabul: A Taliban shadow district governor was killed during a clash with security forces in Parwan province of Afghanistan on Friday night.
The incident took place in Shinwari district of the province.
The deceased has been identified as Mawlavi Jamshid, a top Taliban operative and the shadown district governor of Sayed Khel district.
He was gunned down with at least one other terrorist, officials said.
The Taliban is yet to comment on the report.
