This newly created role at Amantani is an exciting opportunity to craft and implement the communications strategy for an award-winning international organisation working towards social change.

Since 2008, we have been working with young people from indigenous Quechua-speaking communities in the Andes of Peru, enabling them to access high quality education and opportunities of fair employment. Driven by a commitment to social justice, we work with young people and their parents to create highly contextualised educational projects that enable young people to develop the capabilities they need to access equal opportunities.

Our Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the organisation’s external communications. As Amantani’s ‘Brand Champion’, you will work with our Senior Management Team to create and implement a Communications Strategy.

This position can be performed from the UK or Peru.

THE ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Creating a communications strategy which can be applied across our various areas of fundraising.

Planning and delivering our communication campaigns across a range of audiences (focused on UK and Peru) to raise awareness of our programmes.

Writing detailed and tailored funding applications in support of the fundraising team.

Writing reports and updates for donors of all scales in support of the fundraising team.

Ensuring brand consistency is maintained across all forms of communications.

Managing our websites, social media and databases and creating it’s content.

Maximising awareness of Amantani in the UK and Peru through new initiatives.

Creating any public visuals such as webpages, flyers and merchandise packaging.
