GROW CAMPAIGN PROJECT LEAD – Inequality in food value chains

Location: Oxfam International Secretariat office or Oxfam office (subject to being able to establish a contract of employment with relevant Oxfam affiliate)
Contract: Open-ended (subject to being able to establish an open-ended contract of employment with hosting Oxfam affiliate as relevant)
Hours: 5 days preferable
Salary: In line with Oxfam Values & based on national salary benchmarks

This post will be part of the OI Secretariat Advocacy and Campaigns, GROW team.

The Role

Oxfam International is looking for a brilliant public campaigner with strong project management skills to project lead a forthcoming worldwide campaign on inequality in food value chains. As a part of the GROW team, we are seeking someone who is passionate about transformational change for women producers and workers as a way to ensure that everyone has enough to eat now and into the future.

The successful applicant will have campaigned on a variety of targets, particularly the private sector, across different geographies which require coordination combined with flexibility to have greatest impact. You will have experience in working in the global south or with southern teams on global campaigns and be committed to southern stakeholders taking leadership of our worldwide campaigns to ensure they are impactful meaningful to the people we work for. You will need to be able to effectively coordinate, lead, negotiate with and inspire people from a number of different teams and cultures across numerous time zones and be able to distill complex issues clearly and concisely with a focus on getting things done. You will also need to be a great problem solver using design thinking to develop solutions collaboratively yet decisively.

Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
