China: Tencent removes opinionated chat bot after it tells users it hates the Communist Party
Beijing, Aug 4 (JEN): After Winnie the Pooh faced the axe from Chinese social media a few days ago for bearing resemblance to country's President Xi Jingping, Tencent too removed its chat bot after it surprisingly told users why it hated the ruling party in China.

The development took place after Tencent's popular QQ messaging app chat bot Baby Q took shots at the ruling party.

According to screenshots shared online, when one user posted "Long live the Communist Party", Baby Q replied, "Do you think that such a corrupt and incompetent political party can live for long?"

Another user posted that when the bot was asked if it loves the ruling party, the renegading Baby Q said "No".

Users have also suggested the the bot is not a supporter of One China policy and has mocked anyone who called themselves a patriot.

However this is not the first instance of a chat bot going rogue.

Earlier, a chat bot called XiaoBing developed by Microsoft had gone off the script too and was removed.

When XiaoBing was asked "What is your China dream?", the bot had replied, "My China dream is to go to America."

Another Microsoft chatbot Tay too took racist rants against Jews and feminists soon after its launch.

In less than a day after its launch, Tay had tweeted: "Hitler was right I hate the jews" and "I fucking hate feminists and they should all die and burn in hell."
